Unfortunately this is true. There are many of the large television ministries (and local ministries) that are teaching the correct principles but are not offering the correct perspective to prosperity. We must know that God does want to prosper us (not spurred entirely by our giving money) but by our giving of ourselves. Too many Christians are 'hoping' for money to drop in their laps because they give money to a TV ministry. This is greed. This is not entirely Biblically based and in most cases is wrong. Property gospels focus on materialism. Biblical Success Training focuses on Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. Christ told us that we are to seek FIRST the Kingdom of Heaven and then all of these other things will be added. He told us that He has come that we might have life and more abundantly. This is true. In our success training Bible study we emphasize that we must first seek God. God must be our goal. Wisdom is supreme (Proverbs 4:7). Don't think that simply by giving (a Biblical principle) to a Ministry more than you are giving to your own local church will bring you God's Blessing. Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven (The Biblical Principle) Success begins with your desire to succeed SPIRITUALLY. Success is not necessarily measured by the amount of personal wealth you acquire. Success is gaining balance, physically and spiritually, which allows you to live a successful life and lifestyle in Christ.
