Success Training Bible Study - Intro to Genesis Chapter 6e
God's Patience and God's Promise
success training Bible study
God’s patience is an exciting aspect of God’s Divine Nature. This chapter demonstrates the extent of God’s patience. Very easily as well as totally He could have eliminated all of the sinful people of Noah’s time. He could eliminate all of the sinful people today. In a flash, a matter of milliseconds, God could have quickly annihilated the wicked people in Noah’s time but He chose to use Noah instead in the execution of His judgment. As you study the Holy Scriptures in this success training Bible study, you’ll see how, time after time, God is willing and eager to enlist man in cooperative ventures. This demonstrates His patience and His willingness to use man as His physical arms and legs. God delights in these cooperative ventures. He would rather use us, which usually takes a long time, instead of instantly taking action on His own. Time is not the issue with God. He is timeless. He exists outside of time’s domain. Our willingness to join with Him in cooperative ventures is the key. He doesn’t need us to accomplish anything. He wants us, our willing participation. That truly demonstrates His patience. God's Promise
God reveals Himself to us in His most profound characteristic. He loves us so much that, even though we are disobedient (sinners), He is willing to enter into “covenant” relationships with us. He is the God of Covenant. Covenant is a promise, an agreement. He keeps His promises, His covenants. Man, by His sinful nature, does not. To imagine the immensity, the perplexity, the awesome power that is God is a humbling experience. Even for an instant, to grasp to magnitude of Almighty God, the Creator of this universe and everything in it, makes me realize how tiny I am. Knowing with unwavering faith that He, Almighty God, is willing to enter into a covenant agreement with me is awe inspiring. How could anyone not believe that God wants each and every one of use to succeed and to prosper? How can anyone ignore the depth of God’s love for us when He has sealed our covenant relationship with the Blood of Christ Jesus. Knowing that God is willing to enter into a covenant relationship with us is reassuring and comforting. How is it possible for anyone to not be able to accept the fact that, simply by putting Him first in our lives, God will keep His promises to us? Lack of FAITH, not only in Him but in himself is the culprit. Please continue with this success training Bible study. You can see that by seeking wisdom from God's Holy Word can dispel the myths that have been woven into our social fabric.
