Success Training Bible Study - Genesis Chapter 7c

Faith - a reminder to the faithful

a success training Bible study

Jesus told us in Mathew 24:38-39 (NIV), “ For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”

Noah’s faith rewarded him and his family. Judgment fell on those who did not heed the warning. Noah’s faith and faithfulness are powerful reminders to God’s people to expect the return of Christ and the judgment. His faith and faithfulness also remind us that God is looking out for our best interest.

We can see in this success training Bible study that Noah still has something to say to those who find it more comfortable to settle into life as the non-believers have. Christians have the opportunity to venture forward in a journey of discovery. Life doesn’t stop merely at the acceptance of Christ as Savior. It begins! Accepting Christ and then sitting back willing to accept what life throws at you is not what Christ wants. He want to build a firm relationship, a covenant relationship with you. “To build” is an action. It is not passive. It’s time to study, to pray, to learn and apply what you learn.

One of the great advantages of men of faith, like Noah, is that they can also inspire others to learn what it is to trust and obey in order to discover the riches of blessing in store for those who are willing to build as God directs and to launch out into the deep.

Noah and other men of faith are examples to be followed. Their faith should be the inspiration for others to step forward, accept the challenges of life using the expert guidance of the Holy Word of God. Noah didn’t have a written manual. Moses and Abraham didn’t have the advantage of a book with all of the directions to guide then. All that they had was raw, unswerving, unstoppable faith. You have a success training Bible study to reinforce your understanding.

When Billy Graham started, do you suppose that he knew where he would go? Did Paul, when he went against everything that he had been taught, know where his life would take him? You’ll never learn what God has planned for you if you sit at home and wonder about it or refuse to take action because someone may think you’ve lost you mind. If you continue doing what you know will lead you nowhere, you’ll end up nowhere. A definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over expecting a different result. Read God’s Word. Study God’s Word. Listen for God’s voice. Listen to what God tells you. Do what God tells you. Be the faithful success that God wants you to be.
